Mixed Media Collage
How To:
Step 1: Idea. This collage is about you. It is more then just your likes. It can be your fears, your accomplishments, your trials or how you feel about life.
Step 2: Think of what you would like to use in your collage. 5 total different forms of media. 1 form from something we did in class.
Ex: Paint, Pages from a book, computer image you made, fabric and twigs
- Using 3 different types of the same media does not count
Create movement in your image. Find patterns to use. Don't put your main subject dead center.
Step 3: Place it. You may want to move, or rearrange your image so don't glue it yet.
Step 4. After you have gotten everything where you want it, glue it down. Start with the background then add up from there. Your main subject needs to be sticking out. It is called a relief.
